NETWORKING AND CONTRACEPTIVE USE AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY, OJO LAGOS
Abstract
These study examines and evaluate sexual networking among undergraduate students of Lagos State University, who mainly constituted the study population. The psychoanalytic theory (Sigmund-Freud) was synthesized in explaining the concepts of sexual networking and contraceptive use among the students. Therefore a research design that combines a survey of 250 university undergraduate students was adopted for this study. The study found out that larger proportion of the students in the study area participated in unhealthy sexual intercourse with low contraception.
